PHILIPPE MORILLON

Selected Pieces
A propos de PHILIPPE MORILLON

Season-opening exhibition at Galerie de la Clé featuring the legendary Parisian dandy, Philippe Morillon. A close associate of Warhol and the instigator of an art that is both contemporary and timeless, Philippe Morillon has navigated the eras, fashions, and styles of Parisian life. From Club 7 to Les Bains Douches, including Le Palace—for which he designed the famous logo—he has showcased an entire segment of underground, disco, and punk culture.

This time, Philippe presents his own collection of modern and contemporary art for the first time in an exhibition titled Selected Pieces. The gallery will welcome you from September 5 to 27 with a selection of his most precious works. The opening reception will take place on Saturday, September 6, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the presence of the artist.

Featuring works by Rauschenberg, Richard Avedon, and even some signed by Warhol—along with, of course, a selection of works by Philippe Morillon himself—this new exhibition offers not only a selection of modern and contemporary pieces dear to Philippe Morillon but also a gateway into his private world.
